On June 16-18, 2010 NDC Took Part in ANNA Annual General Meeting Held in Paris

NDC took part in ANNA Workshop and Annual General Meeting held in Paris on June 16-18, 2010.

ANNA Workshop held on June 16, 2010 where use of international standards in securities markets of different countries, partnership and membership in the Association and other relevant matters were discussed. The representatives of the numbering agencies as well as organizations of countries which consider becoming members or partners of ANNA had an opportunity to discuss mentioned above issues with ANNA Board of Directors and ANNA Service Bureau Advisory Board directly.

Such Workshops held by ANNA already for the second time become traditional events which enable ANNA Board of Directors to receive practical response on the international standards performance all over the world in order to apply the gathered experience to the further development of the standards and the principles of their use in the international and national markets.

The main issues discussed at the meeting were related to the elaboration of a new version of international codes standards and the development stages of other international standards involving ANNA, the results of the regional groups and substitute agencies activity, the reports of the numbering agencies on their work, etc.

The organizations of Bahrain, Bangladesh, the Czech Republic and Vietnam were admitted to ANNA. Barbados and Georgia gained the status of ANNA partners.
